10 Emoji Party Craft Ideas 

My emoji pictures can be used for all kinds of crafts, perfect for throwing parties. Keep reading for ideas for emoji decorations, costumes, party favors, and more!

1. Emoji Banner

Decorations are one of the most important things about throwing a party. If you’d like a few of your decorations to be emoji-themed, you can use my prints to make a party banner.

To make the banner, you’ll need craft paper/card stock, twine, staples, glue or double-sided tape, and scissors.

Select your favorite emojis from the selection above and print them out. 

Cut the shape of the emoji out of the paper, and either paste or tape them onto the back of the card stock or paper, cutting along the edges to keep the circular shape.

Next, staple the emojis to the twine until you’ve reached your desired banner length.

As a tip – add glitter, stickers, and other decorations to the banner to personalize it more to your kid’s taste!

2. Paddle Faces

Paddle faces are fun to wear in photos, and kids can take them home as a party favor. You can make these paddles using my emoji selection above; they’re super easy to make.

In addition to the emoji prints, you’ll need yellow card stock or paper plates, fan handles or large popsicle sticks, scissors, double-sided tape, and hot glue.

Print and cut out the emoji faces, and tape them to the card stock or paper plate. If you use the card stock, make sure to cut around the edges to get a circular shape.

Next, hot-glue the emoji faces to the fan handles (double up if using large popsicle sticks) and let dry. 

Set these aside to hand out as party favors or include them as props for a photo booth.

3. Photo Booth Props

Creating a photo booth for a kids’ or adults’ party is a great way to memorialize the day! But every photo booth needs props, so you can use my emoji prints to create some cute costumes.

In addition to the face paddles mentioned above, you can attach these emojis to party hats, or create face masks using a hole punch and elastic string.

Additionally, if you have Instagram frame props, you can provide emoji prints for the kids to hold up in photos to act like Instagram Story reactions. 

4. Paper Cake Decorations

Every good cake needs a theme, so if you’re throwing an emoji-themed party, you can include my prints in the cake decor!

Similar to the face paddles, you can print off the emoji faces and paste them onto either popsicle sticks or cake pop holders. 

These little emoji sticks can be placed around a cake, used as cupcake toppers, or as decorations for the dessert table. 

5. Emoji Face Plates and Cups

If the main theme of your kid’s party is emojis, a great way to display the theme is to have emoji cups and plates.

In addition to my emoji prints, you’ll need yellow paper cups and plates, scissors, and either double-sided tape or hot glue.

After printing and cutting the emoji faces, paste or tape them to the paper plates’ surface and around the cups’ perimeter. 

You can further add to the theme by purchasing napkins and utensils that match the color palette of the emojis.

6. Pin-the-Hat on the Emoji

You can use these emoji prints to create a fun rendition of the classic pin the tail on the donkey game. 

Have your kids choose their favorite emoji, print it out, and paste it onto card stock to make the surface thicker. 

Next, cut a piece of card stock into a triangle shape for the party hat. Have your kids decorate it with glitter, stickers, ephemera, tassels, and other decorations. 

On the back of the hat and on the head of the emoji face, attach a piece of Velcro.

Finally, use a bandana or sleep mask as the blindfold.

Attach the emoji print to the wall, and have fun as the kids try to pin the hat without looking!

7. Emoji Party Invitations

You can make adorable party invites using my emoji prints! Print out a large selection, and cut out the emoji faces. 

Take two emojis and paste the left edge together, ensuring both emojis face the outside. 

Write out the invite or print it out and paste it in the invite.

Keep the theme cohesive by sending out the invitations in colorful envelopes that match the emojis, such as yellow, blue, or red.

8. Mini Emoji Notebooks 

You can make cute party favors for the kids by creating little emoji notebooks. To make these books, you’ll need a variety of emoji prints, craft paper, scissors, and staples.

After printing and cutting out the emojis, select different craft paper colors, stack them, and trace the emoji face shape on the top of the stack.

Next, cut out the colored paper, and stack it with the emoji faces on the top and bottom. Finally, staple the left edges together, and set them aside for your little guests.

These notebooks would be great for little gift bags, including pencils, erasers, and other stationery. 

9. Emoji Door Hanger

Another great party favor, emoji door hangers are super easy to make. 

All you need are some circular wooden signs (which can be found at the dollar store or crafts stores), the above emoji printables, scissors, and either double-sided tape or glue.

After printing and cutting out the emoji faces, tape or paste them to the surface of the wooden signs.

Once finished drying/setting, you can individualize these hangers by adding glitter, bows, the names of your kid’s guests, or other decorations.

Set these hangers aside, and hand them out at the end of the party!

10. Emoji Scavenger Hunt

If you’re planning a scavenger hunt, you can make it even more fun by using my emoji prints to mark each spot. 

This will make the markers easier to see for younger children and add an extra level of fun to the hunt.

10 Reasons Why Kids Should Learn The Cursive Alphabet

Cursive isn’t taught in many schools today, but it should be. Here are ten reasons why kids should still be learning the cursive alphabet.

10. Writing In Cursive Is Good For The Brain

While it is difficult to create a control for cursive versus printing in an experimental setting, some studies have shown that, while handwriting, in general, is good for the brain, cursive is best.

And in young children, whose brains are still developing, “more neurons fire in different ways than printing.”

So, the young brain, as it encounters new information, creates new and different neural pathways when it studies cursive.

And with repetition and lots of practice, those neural pathways can become permanent, leading to a better, more well-rounded brain in childhood and beyond.

9. Writing In Cursive Builds Fine Motor Skills

While many of us who write in cursive as adults hardly think about the movements of our pen, it wasn’t always so.

In fact, if you were to go back to when you were learning cursive, you were probably quite slow and concentrating hard.

That’s good, though – it means your brain was working to send signals to your hand to write those loopy, slanted letters.

Learning cursive helps children develop their fine motor skills – after all, they even hold the pencil differently, and the eye/hand coordination needed is delicate.

8. Writing In Cursive Improves Recall

A 2020 study done by the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, led by Audrey Van der Meer, found that writing in cursive helps improve recall.

“Writing by hand creates much more activity in the sensorimotor parts of the brain,” Van der Meer writes.

“These sensory experiences create contact between different parts of the brain and open the brain up for learning.”

Young students are not only pressing the pencil to paper; they’re seeing the letters formed and sounding out the letters or words while writing.

This, in turn, helps them remember what they were writing more clearly.

7. Learning The Cursive Alphabet Can Help Students Spell Better

In much the same fashion as recall, writing in cursive also improves students’ ability to spell words.

Because of the sensory experiences kids are undergoing and the brain’s neural activity, not only are kids recalling what they write more clearly, but they’re also remembering how they wrote it.

6. Cursive Connects Kids To History

Whether they’re studying the Declaration of Independence or simply going through their grandma’s old recipes, the ability to read cursive connects kids to history.

There was a period of time when many of the historical figures in the Western world wrote almost entirely in cursive.

The ability to see and read these historical documents, letters, etc., as they were written – not printed out on a card – is vastly important to studying centuries before.

Then there is the kids’ own personal, familial history; if they don’t learn cursive, they might not be able to read the Christmas cards grandparents send them or old letters.

5. Cursive Can Help Students With Disabilities Learn To Read And Write

Because some printed letters look very similar – especially b and d – dyslexic students can have difficulty mastering reading and writing.

However, lowercase b and d in cursive look quite different – making it much easier for dyslexic students to decipher which letter is which.

From there, cursive can help students who are dyslexic improve the fluidity of their reading and writing, making them more confident and bolstering their self-esteem.

4. Some Legal Documents Require A Cursive Signature

A friend of mine works in an office and had a younger person come in to sign some documents.

They gave them the clipboard with the pages attached and then noticed, some minutes later, the young person struggling.

It turned out that person had never learned cursive, and so they were really at a loss as to how to sign their own name.

While the trend is toward printing as a signature, some old-school documents will always require a cursive one, with the printed name on a different line.

3. Cursive Sets Up Kids For Later Life

Not only does learning the cursive alphabet benefit kids while they’re young, but it may also have an impact on their cognitive ability all their lives.

The College Board found that students who wrote in cursive on the essay section of the SATs scored slightly higher than those who printed.

And William Klemm, Ph.D., author of a Psychology Today article, compares cursive writing to playing a musical instrument in terms of brain activity.

That means that if students learn cursive while they’re young and retain it as they get older, they’ll be doing their brains a great service well into old age.

2. Cursive Is A Faster Way To Write

For many of us, our brains think faster than our fingers can keep up with, but cursive has the edge on printing when it comes to the speed of writing.

This is because we pick up the pencil less frequently when writing in cursive.

If your child has a lot of ideas, encourage them to learn cursive so that they can write down everything they dream up much more quickly than printing.

1. Cursive Is Beautiful And Boosts Creativity

Frankly, cursive is beautiful, a cousin to calligraphy – it’s basically like a form of art.

And like art, learning cursive boosts mental activity in the brain and improves left/right brain coordination.

This promotes a stronger, more active brain – from which creativity springs.

Researchers at the University of Washington found that kids who wrote in cursive, versus on a keyboard, “were writing more words and expressing more ideas.”

10 Craft Ideas To Do With Printable Clock Faces

Here are ten affordable, fun, and creative craft ideas you can do with your completed coloring page!

10. Movable Hand Clocks

The most basic thing you can do with my clock printables is making movable hands so that you can use them as a teaching aide for your kids.

To do this, you’re going to take one of the clock pictures that comes with hands and cut out both the clock and the hands.

Mount the clock onto a piece of construction paper, poster board, or even cardboard.

You’re going to need a fastener; you’ll line up the hands, arrows facing outward, and center them in the middle of the clock.

Then, push down the fastener so that it goes through the hands, clock, and whatever you have mounted your clock on.

If you used cardboard, you might need to make a pre-divot to get the fastener through.

Then you can manipulate the hands to tell whatever time you need it to!

9. Bedtime/Wake-Up Clocks

A good way to teach kids to tell time is to start practicing with times that stay regular, like bedtime and wake-up.

You can make a poster for the wall or fridge without hands using one of my clocks.

Print off two and cut them out, then mount them on the same piece of construction paper or poster board.

Draw in the bedtime and wake-up times, and make sure to label each!

Now, when the working clock looks like the clock faces here, your kids will know it’s time for bed or to get up out of bed and start their day.

8. Scrapbooking

Two clocks in my collection are perfect for scrapbooking when you want to show the passage of time or suggest that what occurred was a moment in time.

You can resize the images by copying/pasting the pictures from their downloadable PDF format into a Word processor document.

7. Velcro Digital Clocks

Of course, not every clock your kids come across will be analog; a great many will be digital, so it’s important to practice telling time that way, too.

You can do this by using my digital clock with numbers page; cut out all the pieces and mount the clock onto a piece of construction paper or cardboard.

You’re going to get Velcro, cut one side into four small squares or rectangles, and paste them on the clock’s face, where the numbers would be.

Then, using the other side of the Velcro, you’ll cut that into small squares or rectangles and paste them to the backs of the numbers.

You can then post up and tear off numbers as you go through your lessons.

6. Telling Time Worksheets

You can use my mini-clock faces for a lot of practice telling time, using both regular numbers and Roman numerals.

Print off a few pages and draw on arms that tell a variety of different times.

Then give them to your kids and have them write when the clocks are set on.

5. DIY Clock Faces

Take some time off – pun intended – from practicing telling time and have your kids stretch their creativity wings a bit.

Print off one of my larger clock faces and have the kids color them in however they want; they can draw superheroes or flowers or use glitter and sequins.

Then you can turn it into a real clock face by purchasing a cheap clock from Walmart, popping off the plastic cover, and replacing it.

4. Watches

Turn my mini-clock faces into wearable timepieces that kids learning to tell time can wear – just like Mom and Dad.

You’ll need about a two or three-inch wide strip of construction paper, and you’ll paste the clock face into the middle.

Then wrap the strip around your kid’s wrist and tape the ends together, cutting off any extra.

3. Daily Routine/Tasks Posters

When you’re the head of a classroom, you’ll want to run a tight ship and adhere as closely to the schedule as possible.

Using my clock pictures, you can help students achieve this by making daily routines or task posters.

Draw on the hands for break or naptime, lunchtime, changing of the classes or subjects, and recess.

Your students can look from the actual clock to the posters and judge how long they have before the next task or activity.

2. Time Out Posters

Time out can feel arbitrary to a kid, so help them understand how long they are to go without screens or sit quietly and read by creating time-out posters.

You’ll need two printouts of a clock face with hands and two fasteners.

Attach the clock hands to the clocks with the fasteners and mount them onto a piece of construction paper or poster board.

Then, next time your child is in time out, set one clock to when time out begins and one to when it ends.

1. Pipe Cleaner Clock Hands

You’ll need two pieces of pipe cleaner per clock, and to make it easier to tell them apart, it’s best if they’re different colors.

Your kids are going to bend the pipe cleaners on one end to form a triangle; snip one hand to be shorter, too.

Then you’re going to take a clock face and push a fastener in the middle. Wind each piece of pipe cleaner around the fastener once.

Now you can turn the clock hands!

Mini-Sized Playing Cards

If you are looking to conserve paper or have smaller cards that take up less space (great for traveling), this mini deck of printable playing cards might be what you are after!

While this mini deck is great for card games, it can also serve other purposes, including party decorations, name tags, memory games for kids, crafts for scrapbooking, and more!

Regular-Sized Playing Cards

These standard-sized cards can be a lifesaver if you need a deck of cards in a pinch to continue the party, decide who is a better poker player, or for a rainy day card game.

I recommend printing these cards on thick card stock to make them long-lasting and durable. Alternatively, you can cut the cards out and paste them on thick cardboard or even laminate them!

Jumbo-Sized Playing Cards

While you could technically play cards with these jumbo-sized printables, they may be better suited for party banners, photo booth props, book covers, wall decorations, craft supplies, and more.

This printable is a single PDF file with all 52 cards and suits and is on US letter-sized paper. For those outside the US, the pages also fit perfectly on A4 paper too. If you don’t need to print the entire set, you can opt for selecting one (or more) cards that you need and print accordingly.

10 Popular & Simple Card Games for the Family

On rainy and snowy days, playing cards is a great way to pass the time! Keep reading for 10 easy games you can enjoy as a family with my printable cards, including their instructions. 

1. Go-Fish 

Who didn’t grow up playing Go Fish? This is a classic 2-4 player card game great for kids four and up that kids and parents alike will enjoy playing together.

The objective of the game is to make up all sets of four cards, and whoever has the most sets wins.

If you need a card to complete your set, ask another player for it. If they don’t have the card, they’ll say, “Go fish,” and you’ll have to “fish” for a card from the middle deck. 

Keep going until all sets of four have been collected. 

This is a great game to teach young kids how to play cards, and it can be enjoyed by all ages! 

2. Crazy Eights

Crazy Eights is a great 2-5 player game appropriate for kids four and up. 

To play, you must set a card on top of the middle deck that matches the card facing upward. It either has to be the same value or the same suit.

8’s are wild and can be played over any suit or value. If you play an 8, you set the value for the next card (e.g., you can declare “hearts,” and the next player has to set down a card of hearts).

The first player to discard all of their cards wins the game!

3. War

War is one of the most simple two player card games for kids six and above, and it goes by quickly! 

Split the deck in half so that each player has 26 cards, and deal them out facing down.

Both participants will take a card from the deck and set them face up at the same time. Whoever plays the highest value card keeps the other player’s card. 

If the cards are of the same value, it’s War. You’ll both select two more cards from your deck, facing one up and one down. 

The person with the highest value card takes the other player’s card.

Keep playing until one player snakes all the cards and wins!

4. Slapjack

Slapjack is a 3-6 player game appropriate for kids four and up. This game uses up the whole deck of cards, so make sure to print off plenty of my designs.

The objective of the game is to win the card pile that has a jack on top.

Whoever yells “slapjack” and puts their hand over the deck wins the pile and adds it to their deck. 

This is a fun, fast game that kids are sure to love and that can be enjoyed by the whole family. 

5. Snip, Snap, Snorem

Snip, Snap, Snorem is a fun game that can be played between 2-10 people, and is similar to the game Snap (seen below). 

After dealing out the full pack of cards to each player, the first player sets a card face-up in the middle of the table. The next player will try to match this card.

If they match the card, the second player will yet “snip.” If the third player matches the card, they will yell “snap,” and if the fourth player can match, they will yell “snorem.”

Whoever runs out of their cards first is the winner.

6. Cheat/I Doubt It 

Cheat is a classic card game fit for the whole family. The objective of the game is to discard your full deck by taking turns playing. 

You can attempt to discard more cards than the rules allow by pretending your cards are of a different value, hence the name “cheat.” For the full set of rules, click here

7. Snap

Snap is a game that can be played by kids as young as 3. The objective of the game is for players to match cards with the same number as another player’s card. 

Everyone has their own set of cards (split up evenly between the players) and turns over their cards in the middle of the table. If two cards match, the first player to shout “snap” wins the middle card.

Whoever doesn’t lose all their cards wins the game!

8. Chase the Ace

Chase requires 52 playing cards and is the most fun with 4+ players! The object of the game is to not end up with the lowest value card.

Each player will decide whether to keep their cards or pass them on to the next player. If the value is 10 or higher, you’ll want to keep it, and if it’s lower, you’ll want to discard it. 

If a player has an Ace, they can hold onto the card, even if the other players want them to discard it and select a new one. 

This game is energetic and fast-paced, and is a great choice if the entire family wants to join in the fun!

9. Memory 

Memory is a fantastic game for kids as young as three and requires 2-4 players. To play, deal out all the cards and make sure they’re face-down.

Each player takes turns flipping over two cards. If the pair matches in value, they win the pair and get to have another turn. 

Whoever ends up with the most cards by the end of the game wins.

10. Happy Families 

Happy Families is very similar to Go Fish (mentioned above), except that the value and the suit of each card requested must match (e.g., you ask for a King of Spades and not just a King).

The winner of the game will have the most sets of four cards.

This game is ideal for kids who are just learning how to play cards, and is appropriate for ages 4 and up. You can play with up to four people, which makes it a great game for the whole family.

Printable Stencils (Style 1)

Here is a more contemporary set of letters and numbers that would be great for sign-making, iron-on designs, quilting, jerseys, woodwork, wedding books, and photo albums, just to name a few.

Printable Stencils (Style 2)

You can’t go past this traditional stencil font that seems to have been around forever. These templates could be ideal for garage sale signs, model making, spray painting letters on a crate, street signs, and even laser cutting!

Printable Stencils (Style 3)

This font is a bit out there and might be more tricky to cut out with a craft knife, but I think it will definitely be worth it! These templates could be used for coloring, using with a Cricut machine, custom sports jerseys, or wherever your imagination might take you!

10 Uses of Printable Stencil Letters

Stencils have so many uses and can be re-used time and again for multiple projects. Keep reading below for a list of 10 activities you can do using my printable stencil lettering!

1. Spray Painting 

Spray painting is a fun pastime that can include a variety of elements, such as lettering. 

If you want to add a message to a mural or sign your name, try printing and cutting out my stenciling sheets!

If your spray-paint project is going to be displayed in public, using lettering stencils ensures that the message you want to send can be easily read.

To use these stencils for painting, I recommend printing them onto thicker paper, such as card stock, to prevent the paper from getting too wet and ripping at the edges.

You could also trace the letters with a pencil or pen and then fill them in with paint, which may come in handy if you need to go over the stencils multiple times.

2. Wall Decor

Instead of purchasing stick-on quotes that can ruin your wall, use stencil lettering to paint the words you want to be featured in your home.

After printing off and cutting out my stencil sheets, decide what words, numbers, or quotes you want to be displayed, and either brush paint or spray paint them onto your wall.

As a tip: if you want to display a nice message at your home entrance, I recommend painting a quote about family or the comforts of home.

3. Sign Writing

Another great use for these stencil letters and numbers is for creating signs. If you’re making a sign with wood, I recommend using paint to go over the letters/numbers, as it will last much longer.

Listed below are sign ideas you can use my stencils for:

  • Bedroom door sign with your or your kid’s name(s)
  • “Welcome” sign for the front door or entryway
  • Wedding date sign (e.g., The Anderson’s est. YEAR)

4. Party Decorations

Every party needs some decorations, and making them yourself is always a great way to add a personal touch to an event.

For example, if you’re throwing an anniversary party or wedding shower, you can write messages such as “Happy Anniversary,” “The Future Mrs.,” and so on.

You can also use my large letter stencil prints to add the party recipient’s initials to items such as party favor gift bags.

5. Work Signs

Purchasing signs for work can be expensive, and sometimes, it can be difficult to locate the specific sign you require. In that case, you can save time and money by making your own.

My stencil sets would be great for this project as the letters are capitalized and easy to read, which serves to get certain rules and instructions across clearly to employees and customers.

Also, if you’re able to be more creative with the signs, such as chalkboard menus, you can fill in the stencil shapes with different colors, add borders and drawings, and other fun elements!

Certain types of work signs you can use my stencils for are:

  • Instruction boards 
  • Open/Closed signs
  • Café menus
  • Customer appreciation boards
  • Out of Order signs
  • Table Closed/Reserved signs
  • Closed for maintenance signs

6. Scrapbooking

Scrapbooking is one of those activities where you can’t have too many materials, so why not add stencils to the mix? 

If you want to add more diverse lettering and numbering to your scrapbook besides your own handwriting, my stencil sets are great for adding titles, names, locations, etc., to your page layout.

For more diverse lettering choices, I recommend using Style 1 of my stencil set, as the letters have a nice creative look to them!

7. Art Projects

If you want to add some lettering to your art projects, you can use my printable stencils to make the task much easier! There are plenty of projects you can use these letters for, such as:

  • Custom book covers
  • Sewing projects (tote bags, book slips, etc.)
  • Mixed media (the letters would be great for adding quotes from books or films)
  • Scrapbooking (mentioned above)
  • Photo albums
  • Wedding albums
  • Monogramming
  • Woodworking projects

If you’re using these stencils on a flat surface like a canvas or notebook, I recommend setting a heavy object on each side of the paper to keep the stencil in place while you fill in the letters.

Because these stencils print onto paper, I would caution against taping them in place, as they could end up ripping.

8. DIY Home Decor

Another way you could use my printable stencils is when creating your own home decor pieces. The letters could be used for quotes, sayings, names, or titles. 

Depending on the materials you’ll be using to make your decor, you may want to use a pencil to fill in the stencil letter first to prevent you from needing to start over again.

For instance, if you’re using wood and you make an accident with paint or ink, it may be difficult to remove the color.

Try using my stencils for decor, such as:

  • Candle holders (write the name or ingredients of the candle scent)
  • Recipe boxes 
  • Wall art
  • Labeled tins and jars (cake, sugar, coffee, etc.)
  • Chalk daily tasks board 

9. Stationery and Invitations

When sending cards, letters, and invitations, it’s always fun to personalize them a bit, making for a great keepsake for the recipient.

So, if you have an occasion to send one of the above, add a nice message or put the recipient’s name on the envelope using my printable stencils!

I recommend tracing out these letters/numbers with a light pencil and then applying ink or paint afterward to avoid mistakes, especially if you’re adding this decal after you’ve filled out the card/letter.

10. Cake Decorating

One of the most fun aspects of baking a cake is decorating it. 

If you have a special occasion coming up, such as a wedding or an anniversary, you could put a special message on the cake using my printable stencils!

To apply the stencil, you can use edible glitter after the cake has been frosted or apply a different colored frosting over the stencil.

Small Printable Numbers

Here are a variety of small number styles that would make great memory card games for kids, stencils, tracing activities, or even cutouts from a scrapbook! You will find numbers 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10.

10 Uses of Printable Numbers

Keep reading this article to learn some uses for my printable numbers, such as activities they can be used for, how to implement them in crafts and decor, and other useful tips!

1. Kid’s Bedroom Decor

Decor really affects the atmosphere and cheerfulness of a bedroom, and you likely want your kid to feel their room is a fun place to be. So, why not use some of my printable numbers for decor?

Great ways to implement these numbers into your kid’s room is to make them into a fun calendar, or to create a numbers chart to help them with counting and math. 

I’d recommend choosing from my colorful printable number sheets for such a project to ensure these useful tools have a fun look to them.

For instance, my Printable Colored Numbers in Speech Balloons (mentioned above) are great for kids who love to read comic books or webcomics! 

2. Classroom Items and Activities

Rather than spending money on expensive classroom decorations, activities, and lesson math templates, try downloading and printing my selection of numbers and create your own!

These numbers would be perfect for a numbers banner, classroom calendar, a “class of YEAR” sign, or for creating activities to teach kids about counting and mathematics. 

Some activities could include memory games, flashcards, count and cover games, and other similar tasks. 

3. Scrapbooking

Scrapbooking is a great activity to use my printable numbers for, as it presents an easy way to add dates, ages, titles, etc., that are easy to read!

Great scrapbooks to use my printable numbers for are baby books, wedding albums, schoolwork albums, and other similar projects.

I recommend using my Printable Multicolored Numbers With Shadows (above) for a baby scrapbook, as the pastel colors would fit the theme perfectly!

4. DIY Calendar

Another great way to utilize these printable numbers is to make them into a calendar! 

For instance, If you want to use the numbers in a larger size, you could make a perpetual flip desktop calendar.

Or, if you’re creating your own wall calendar, you could cut out and paste the numbers onto your calendar pages, or download my Black Outline Numbers (above) and use them like stencils.

5. Party Decorations

If you’re celebrating a wedding anniversary, throwing a baby shower, or arranging an annual event, you may find a use for my printable numbers for decorations!

For instance, you could make numbered banners (e.g., Happy 25th Anniversary, 50th annual event, etc.), cake toppers, and invites with the anniversary or annuity date. 

Or, if the party is a baby shower, you could make signs, invitations, and gift bags with the baby’s date of birth! For such an event, I recommend using my multicolored numbers (above). 

6. Cake Decorating

As mentioned above, my printable numbers can easily be used for making cake decorations, such as cake toppers made with cake pop sticks, cut-out numbers, and tape or glue.

You could also print out my black outline numbers (above), cut out the white spaces inside the numbers sheet, and stencil numbers onto the cake using buttercream or edible glitter.

I recommend making these types of cake decorations for anniversaries or annual events!

7. Signage

If you need to make a sign for your work, classroom, or your home, you can use my printable numbers for this project!

The types of signs you could make include classroom/office door numbers, home addresses for gates or houses, café and restaurant menus, and other similar uses.

If you’re able to be creative with your sign (a café menu, for instance), fun bases like chalkboards, rustic wood, or rustic metal will add more personality and flair to it!

8. Stationery

If you enjoy sending letters and cards, or have invitations to send, another great way to use my printable numbers is to use them for dates, addresses, and other information. 

By using my numbers instead of writing out the information, this will ensure that friends and family are better able to read the font, and it also makes the card more fun and creative.

For stationery, I recommend printing my black outline numbers (above), cutting out the white part of the numbers, and using the sheet as a stencil rather than pasting the numbers with glue/ tape.

Using the numbers as a stencil will help you keep the card organized, clean, and simplistic, which is ideal for relaying important information like the date, time, and address of an event.

However, if you’re sending invites for a kid’s party or you’re teaching your child how to write numbers, cutting and pasting these numbers into cards can look fun and cute for kids!

9. DIY Memory Game

As mentioned in the classroom items above, another way you can utilize these printable numbers is to create a fun game for your students (or children).

One idea is a memory game, which can be used to teach kids about concentration. To make this game, start by downloading and printing off multiple copies of my number sheets. 

Next, cut out the numbers and sort them into different denominations. The best way to play this game is to start with simple numbers and work up to more difficult figures.

After selecting your number denominations, paste the numbers onto index cards or card stock.

To play the game, hold up a number to your class (or children) for a few seconds and then take it away. After, get the kids to write down what the number was.

Whoever remembers the most numbers wins the game!

10. Stenciling

As mentioned above, in addition to cutting and pasting my printable numbers, you can also use my black outline sheet (above) as a number stencil.

Simply cut out the white space within the number outline, and trace the inside of the number onto your paper and projects!

5 Benefits of Using Printable Wrapping Paper

Keep reading for the benefits of using my printable wrapping paper, such as the environmental impact, having a more personal touch to your gift, and other similar positives!

1. It’s Better for the Environment

It’s incredibly easy to waste gift wrap, especially if you go through some trial and error trying to wrap your gift properly. As a result, you end up with unused paper that you have to throw out.

However, if you print your wrapping paper from home, you can choose exactly how much you need for your gift, rather than having to deal with an entire roll of paper.

If you’re unsure how much you need, measure the dimensions of your gift. 

For example, if your gift is 17×22 inches, you’ll need about two sheets of my wrapping, which prints well on US letter/A4 sheets.

Overall, printing off your wrapping paper cuts down on waste.

It also sets a good example to your family about the different ways we can care for the environment, as cutting down on paper waste can save a lot of trees!
